2008: Foundation and Vision
MERLOT was founded in 2008 by Mert ÇAPRAZ, with a vision to provide durable and elegant outdoor solutions. Our initial products focused on high-quality pergolas and awnings, designed to meet customer needs.
2010-2015: Technical Innovation and R&D Investments
During this period, our engineering team made significant investments in research and development. This led to the launch of our first automatic pergola models. Continuous customer feedback allowed us to refine and enhance every aspect of our products.
2016-2018: Production Automation and Sustainability
We doubled our production capacity by investing in fully automated manufacturing lines, and by 2017, we introduced 100% recyclable aluminum in our products. This also marked our shift towards sustainability with certifications for energy efficiency.
2019-2021: International Expansion and Digital Transformation
With innovative technologies and digital tools, we expanded into high-demand markets like Germany and France. Our digitization strategy, focused on delivering detailed technical information online, quickly gained traction in markets that value precision and performance, such as Germany.
